TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing a booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

By making a booking with us you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Please note, use of this facility is subject to written agreement, that you accept these conditions of use. Any violation of these conditions will lead to removal of the facility for your use.

 

On first visit, customers must ensure the paddock is suitable and secure for their specific use (e.g. fence height, fencing materials)

 

Pricing

Please refer to 'Prices' on the website for details of the current pricing.

 

Paws and Play reserve the right to alter the pricing structure, for use of the paddock, without notice.

 

Payment

Payment is upfront, via our Online Booking System, before using paddock.

 

Booking & Cancellations

Use of the paddock is strictly by appointment only. Any breach of this condition, will lead to your permitted use of the paddock, being permanently revoked.

 

Bookings are non-transferable to other people and if not cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice payments will not be refunded.

 

When making your booking you must give honest, accurate details, of the number of dogs and vehicles to be used in the booking. Any changes to these details before the booking takes place, must be notified to Paws and Play Paddock in advance.

 

Your booking time is for 50 MINUTES.  You have 10 minutes, to catch your dog/dogs, put them safely in your vehicle and vacate the carpark, BEFORE the start of the next session. Failure to ensure that other customers are not kept waiting to use the paddock, may lead to the withdrawal of the facility for your use.

Please do not arrive more than few minutes before your session.

 

To cover the costs of online booking and the administration of refunds, a cancellation fee of £1 will be applied for each cancellation. Please contact us, to cancel your booking, we can then issue your refund.

If you cannot attend your booking for whatever reason you may prefer to simply move the booking to an alternative date and time, please contact us if you wish to do this, as this will avoid any cancellation fee being applied.

24 hour policy

Cancellations are not possible if they are attempted to be made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and payments will not be refunded.

 

Numbers of Cars, People and Dogs

Use of the paddock is subject to a maximum of 2 vehicles, being present within  the designated car park for the duration of your booking. 

 

Please ensure the Gate is fully closed and secure before letting your dog off the lead. We recommend using the lock and key provided. 

Please use the vacant/in use sign on the gate and the gate should be left open, on your exit.

 

Withdrawal of Facility

Paws and Play reserve the right to withdraw permission to use the facility at their discretion, for example on the basis of weather conditions, or where individuals have not complied with the conditions of use. Subject to the reason for the withdrawal of the facility, any advanced payment may be refunded. However, Paws and Play shall be under no liability for any other expenses incurred or loss sustained by the client, as result, of the use of the facility being withdrawn at our sole discretion.

 

 Opening Times

For safety reasons, the field will be open at specific times during the summer and winter seasons. (Please see opening times on our website and social media). Strictly no access to the paddock is allowed outside of these opening times.

 

All owners must always keep their dogs on lead at all times, whilst in the car park. Once you have gained access to the paddock and closed the gate behind you, the field is secure and you may release your dog(s).

 

On exiting the paddock similarly, you must ensure all dogs are on lead before opening the gate, to the car park and placing the animals in your vehicle.

 

 Paws and Play accepts no liability for any damage or loss sustained, whilst customers are in the car park. Customers waiting to use the paddock for their booking, must remain in their vehicle(s) whilst the car park is vacated by the previous customer.

The agility training area, as you enter the field is strictly out of bounds. If anyone is found to be using this, permanent removal of all facilities will be issued.

 

Should you enter the paddock late within the time of your booking, this will not alter the end time of your booking. You should ensure that you vacate the site on time, so as not to cause any delay to others waiting to commence their booking.

 

Dogs must not meet in the car park and kept in cars at all times, until the previous customers have vacated.

 

Maintenance & Health & Safety

Fresh Water is available on site.

 

There is a dedicated dog waste bin, located on site  and customers must only use this for the disposal of dog waste, other rubbish must be taken home with you. 

 

The paddock is a countryside-based facility and as such although maintained by Paws and Play there will be branches and stones, uneven ground, mud and leaves in the field.

 

 Customers must pick up any faeces from your dog(s) and place them in the designated bins provided. Anyone found to disregard this condition, will have their permission to use the field withdrawn. Owners must discourage their dog(s) from digging and any resultant holes from your dog(s) digging must be filled in prior to leaving the paddock.

 

Paws and Play may get wet and muddy (especially in the winter months).  Customers must ensure adequate and suitable footwear is worn at all times. You must remove all your personal Items on leaving the paddock, as this could cause a choking hazard to other dogs, especially broken dog toys.

 

Paws and Play operates a strict no smoking, vaping or use of pipes policy on any of the premises. Anyone found violating this policy will have their permission to use the field withdrawn, immediately and permanently.

 

Any Children under the care and/or control of a customer must be supervised at all times.

 

The customer shall not bring in to Paws and Play, any inflammables or explosive materials

 

The customer will not operate the release of any high-flying object

 

At no time should any dog(s) be tethered to any structures on site, e.g. Fencing, Posts, Gates. You must not climb on gates, fencing or posts.

 

Dogs should not be left unattended at any time. You should accompany your dog(s) to ensure that you are aware of what they are doing, that they are safe and are complying with these terms and conditions.

 

The law states that you should be in control of your dog(s) at all times.

 

Right of Entry

Paws and Play staff will be allowed access at any time onto the land, to carry out inspections and only decisions made by Paws and Play regarding safety and fitness of use, will be binding.

 

Paws and Play reserve the right to refuse permission to or evict any persons from the premises.

 

Code of Ethics

Owners must ensure that all dogs using the paddock, are up to date with their dog(s) respective flea, worming, and tick control.

 

Harsh handling of any dog(s) either verbal or physical is not allowed.

 

All dogs must wear their collars with an up to date tag and be micro-chipped.

 

If your dog(s) or any dog(s) (they) live with are showing any signs of ill health (coughing, diarrhea, vomiting, general illness, lethargy etc) you will cancel any pending booking. This is to preserve the health of all dogs visiting the site as some may have weakened immune systems.

 

All dog(s) must be on a lead when not in the secure paddock area, specifically they must be on a lead when in the car park on entry and exit of the field.

Please note, there is a public footpath down our drive. 

 

Emergencies

Paws and Play  have the right to cancel any booking forthwith, in the event that  Paws and Play is affected by an emergency / 'Act of God' at any time.Paws and Play  will refund any fees paid in these circumstances.

 

Marketing & Publication Paws and Play reserve the right to use any material including texts and images provided by you to us (in any format) or via our Facebook page for the purposes of marketing and promotion.

 

Personal Responsibilities

Paws and Play and the land owner are not responsible and will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, injury or death howsoever and by whomsoever caused, excepting that caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of Paws and Play or its employees, whether to property, dogs, or person(s) sustained whilst at Paws and Play .

 

Declarations

I agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions, and accept that the use of these facilities is at my own risk and mine, my associates/family/friends and my dogs behavior and actions are my sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Paws and Play  or the landowner.

 

I accept that Paws and Play will not be liable for any liability, losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred by the customer through hiring the use of the Paws and Play field.
